T24-109BUS PEACEPLUS IDEA Project - Intergenerational Dialogue Engaging Arts Reissue

Descriptions

Derry City and Strabane District Council invite suppliers to tender for a PeacePlus IDEA Project. The purpose of this tender is to deliver an Intergenerational Dialogue Programme through Arts and Culture. (IDEA = Intergenerational Dialogue Engaging Arts.) Using the vehicle of dance and music this project brings professional artists (dancers and musicians) and participants together to explore peace and reconciliation themes through workshops and performances. The programme will return to the roots of Dance/Movement and Music in the basic sensitivity to embodied human communication. Participants will build connection and empathy. Participants from across the Derry City and Strabane District Council area and immediate cross-border area from diverse identities and communities will engage creatively as individuals and make a "new creative community" based on the meeting through music and dance. This project is under the Thriving and Peaceful Communities Theme and should engage participants from across a wide area of the district. Please refer to the CfT documents for further detail.
