Descriptions
Trinity College Dublin wish to purchase an Electric Spectrum Analyzer and a Signal Generator to measure the frequencies of the comb lines in order to use this combs in applications such as an optical frequency synthesizer. Optical Combs are sources of light with equally spaced spectral lines. These frequencies occur in the RF-microwave frequency range (1 GHz - 1 THz) hence the requirement for the 2 pieces of equipment.A minimum warranty of 24 months must be included in any proposal. Proposals offering less than 24 months warranty will be excluded.Please see 1.5 below for detail on the priority of the Lots. Proposals can include Ex-Demo & Pre-owned equipment to maximise the budget of €50,000 (excl. VAT). Consortium and SME proposals are welcome as per clause 1.7 below.
