Descriptions
The carers support service will be provided to informal cares aged 18+. The requirements of the contract is to provide universal and preventative support to carers, targeted low level support to prevent carers breakdown and intervention support via a carers assessment and or emergency plan. Some carers who meet the eligibility criteria may be entitled to a personal budget will be to support the carer on maintaining their well-being and caring role for as long as they are willing and able.The maximum annual budget is 253 200 GBP per annum. However, there may be scope for an increase in the annual funding of up to 280 000 GBP as a result of the volume of carers assessments exceeding beyond a 5 % growth over the previous contractual year.
