TENDER FOR AERIAL BRACKEN SPRAYING WITHIN THE LLANTYSILIO MOUNTAINS AREA OF DENBIGHSHIRE

Denbighshire County Council is seeking to establish a contract for the provision of an aerial bracken spraying service within the Llantysilio Mountains area of Denbighshire with a suitably qualified and capable company. The requirement is for the aerial bracken spraying of approximately 285 acres of countryside within the County of Denbighshire. The area is within the area indicated on the Ordnance Survey map available with this document. The Llantysilio Mountains are designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation and are protected by Law. (Refer to Specific Terms & Conditions Clause 18.0 and also the “Tender for Aerial Bracken Spraying within the Llantysilio Mountains area of Denbighshire” Specification document.)It is anticipated that a contract commencement date will be 12th July 2010. With the work being completed by 13th August 2010.
