Swansea University was founded in 1920 and gained independence from the University of Wales in 2007. There are currently 7 Academic Colleges, 13 central support Departments, approximately 15,000 students and 3,000 staff.Currently, there are two Graduation series of congregations per year, one in January with around 8 ceremonies (subject to change) which caters for approximately 1,000 students. There is another series of congregations in July with around 21 ceremonies (subject to change) which caters for approximately 3,000 students; both series of congregations are held at the bay campus.The University has a requirement for a Graduation photographer on a 3 year basis with an option to extend for a further 2 years.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
