The ION leadership programme is designed to develop and enhance the leadership skills of owner – managers of businesses located across the Convergence region of West Wales and the Valleys.The programme concentrates on two areas of the business: the business itself and the personal development of the owner-manager and is designed to meet their specific needs, integrating active teaching with action learning. The programme offers three different courses, depending of the level of leadership experience of the participant: Early stage leadership, developing leadership and Advanced leadership.Each programme comprises a cohort of up to twenty five owner-managers. Throughout the programme, each participant is supported by a mix of expertise from academics, experienced mentors and external coaching professionals. In addition, participants are supported, on an ongoing basis, by other members of their cohort and encouraged to share knowledge and experience, whilst applying what they learn to their own business situation.ION leadership are looking to set up a framework of up to 3 hotels and conference facilities in the following geographical locations for the period May 2016 to June 2018.
