The purpose of this tender procedure is to secure a partner for the transportation, acceptance and processing of co-mingled recycling for the Borough Council of Wellingborough, acting as a Waste Collection Authority. Transport of the materials is to be included in bids.The Council proposes to enter a three (3) year contract. The Authority may extend this agreement beyond the Initial Term by two (2) further periods of up to twelve (12) months.Dry co-mingled recycling is mostly collected from domestic properties in the Borough, but the contractor should also should allow for a small amount of material from trade recycling collections and street litter recycling bins.
