Awarded
Tender for supply of an Atomic Layer Deposition instrument
Descriptions
The College of Engineering at Swansea University requires an atomic layer deposition (ALD) instrument which will be capable of depositing ultra-thin (typically 0.5-10 nm) layers of various metal oxides and metals on flat and porous glass, plastic, and metal substrates for the fabrication of laboratory-scale standard 3rd generation photovoltaic devices and photocatalytic coatings. This instrument mostly intends to enable the reproducible fabrication of basic ALD-compatible metal oxide layers and may be used secondarily as a tool for the development of more advanced materials. All information on the tender provided should be based on the supply and installation of the equipment being ready to perform to the specification level as defined in the tender.
