Tender for supply of Hypoxic Workstation
Descriptions
This Tender Specification is for the supply of a hypoxic workstation for cell culture work to support the experimental work underpinning key element of PATROLS research project. PATROLS (Physiologically Anchored Tools for Realistic nanOmateriaL hazard aSsessment) is a €12.7 million H2020 funded, international project aimed at establishing and standardising a plethora of innovative physiologically anchored hazard assessment tools that accurately predict adverse effects caused by long-term (chronic) low-dose engineered nanomaterial (ENM) exposures in both human and environmental systems. One particular aspect of the PATROLS project is to deliver more realistic and predictive, in vitro three-dimensional (3D) multi-cellular models of several human tissues for mechanism-based hazard assessment and cross-species analysis linking human and environmental systems. The project involves 24 partners spread across 13 countries through Europe and across the globe including Canada, Japan, Korea and the US.This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 760813.
