Tender for supply of Multifunctional Photovoltaic Device Testing Instrument

Descriptions

SPECIFIC IKC and Sêr Solar (College of Engineering, Swansea University) require a multifunctional instrument, capable of carrying out a range of automated measurements, to characterize photovoltaic devices. The need arises as the research group focuses more of its research on perovskite solar cells, which have faster kinetics than technologies previously studied such as DSSCs. The current instrumental set-up, made in-house, is based on LED excitation and NI-DAQ data acquisition. The faster kinetics of perovskite solar cells require pulsed laser excitation and much faster data acquisition.
