Tender for Terrestrial Laser Scanner (SEACAMS2)

Descriptions

The SEACAMS2 project requires the procurement of a Long Range Terrestrial Laser Scanner for measurement of coastal morphology and coastal structures. The laser scanner will be required for surveys of key locations of economic and environmental importance around the coast of Wales. It will be used to provide morphological information for developments in complex coastal environments such as mixed sediment or previously developed coastlines. A laser scanner is required that has sufficient power to capture useful areas in one scan. In this environment, laser scanner return areas are reduced by small size of target (e.g sand grains), water saturation of target and angle of surface.
