Tender for the Development of the Sandwell Regeneration and Inclusive Growth Deal and Integrated Delivery Plan Sandwell is seeking to commission the development of a Regeneration and Inclusive Growth Deal and Integrated Delivery Plan to underpin Sandwell's Vision 2030. This strategy will seek to drive both economic growth and ensure that residents benefit from this growth. It will identify the key sectors and locations for growth, alongside regeneration, housing, skills, transport and infrastructure opportunities across our six towns. As a Borough, we are committed to building a strong economy with a focus on "inclusive growth" that helps all of Sandwell's residents to benefit and enable us to tackle the root causes of poverty currently experienced across our borough, which along with inequity is a significant determinant of health. We are working with Joseph Rowntree Foundation to develop a robust evidence base for joining up the Vision with our work on economic growth and poverty reduction, to ensure we have more "inclusive growth" The RSA Inclusive Growth Commission was launched in April 2016 to lead a 12 month independent inquiry into models of place-based growth that address the need for greater social and economic inclusion. The Commission defines inclusive growth as: enabling as many people as possible to contribute to and benefit from growth. Contract Value The estimated value for this commission is between £130,000 and £150,000. Bidders Event Please Note: The event proposed will be focused on the technical information within these contract documents. The proposed date is the 1st February 2019 at 12.30 and held in the Sandwell/Birmingham area. All questions and responses raised will be recorded and published on In-Tend for all potential bidders to access. This event will only be held if there is sufficient interest, interested companies should declare their interest in a message via the portal before 15:00 on Friday 25th January 2019. Responses will then be reviewed on Monday 28th and a clarification message will be sent to all companies advising if the event is to take place.
