Hamstead Hall Academy Trust has decided to tender their catering services to investigate the financial and qualitative benefits they could be offered through this process.The Trust consists of a growing secondary school and declining primary school.Hamstead Hall Academy with almost 1200 pupils from September 2023. They are currently operating with a contractors and offer Year 7 - 13 morning break and lunch service as well as running 6 weeks (4 days per week) of additional activities during the school holidays with 150-200 pupils attending each day.Grestone Academy is declining year on year to a one form entry primary school. From September 2023 there will be 90 KS1 and 240 KS2 pupils. The school offer wrap around care and the catering is provided for the lunch and after school club.
