The Council is looking for a contractor to provide a fully licensed facility to receive quantities of "All Types of Wood" arising from the Authority’s Civic Amenity Sites. The contractor will be required to arrange for the processing of all types of wood in a manner which complies fully with all waste legislation, using methods designed to maximize the re-use/recycling of all wood materials delivered to the contractors facility (excluding energy recovery, use as a fuel and landfill site cover). For the purpose of this tender ‘All Types of Wood’ means – Civic Amenity type waste wood, timber treated, timber untreated, wood, wood cuttings, hardboard, chipboard, furniture, cork, MDF. Pembrokeshire County Council will be conducting this procurement exercise electronically using the Alito e-tendering portal.
