Tender for the Provision of a Screen Press with Automatic Registration

The Welsh Centre for Printing and Coating (WCPC) based in the College of Engineering wishes to purchase a screen printing press with automatic registration to support multi-disciplinary research. The screen printing press will be used with woven meshes to print functional materials, including printing high precision circuitry using conductive inks as well as for stencilling applications such as solder pastes for hybrid electronics. This document is set out to establish the specification for system.This equipment will be installed in the Welsh Centre for Printing and Coating (WCPC) in their new bespoke designed facility that will form a core part of Swansea University’s £450M Bay Campus development. The facility infrastructure will be open in September of 2015 with equipment installations expected to be carried out between July and October. As such, particular attention will be paid to commitments to planning and implementation of delivery, installation and commissioning by the supplier.
