Swansea University (SU) is seeking to engage a professional consultant to provide the services below, whilst working with existing University technical teams, to gather all metrics required in order to inform the design of a resilient and fit-for-purpose solution:To fully design an on-premise Microsoft Exchange 2016 environment (“the solution”) capable of supporting the university’s current email requirements;To make provision for a projected growth of 20% in throughput and storage;To build the solution, including underlying O/S, storage and associated services;To fully stress-test the solution;To certify the solution as being fit-for purpose;To ensure all recommended monitoring is in place and fully functional;To ensure that backup and recovery arrangements are robust;To provide detailed and comprehensive supporting documentation of the solution.To satisfactorily complete this provision by the end of the current 2016/17 academic year (July 2017)NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
