Herefordshire Council is seeking to appoint a service provider for the Postal Delivery of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) Service in Herefordshire.

The Herefordshire Healthy Lifestyle Service provides the Herefordshire Stop Smoking Service (HSSS) and is commissioned by Public Health to provide the recommended standard treatment programme and supply of NRT to their clients to support a stop smoking quit attempt.

 

The objectives of the service are to support individuals who want to stop smoking, and to reach individuals in rural areas of Herefordshire who do not have access to a community Pharmacy in their local area and have limited means of directly accessing NRT.

 

The contract will commence upon 1 January 2026 and will continue until 31 December 2027. There will be an option to extend this contract for up to 24 months (extensions are subject to future funding and budget approvals, internal governance and supplier's satisfactory performance).
