The University wishes to establish a framework for the 'Provision of Specialist TemporaryAgency Early Years Practitioners' using the OPEN procurement procedure.The University of Birmingham (UoB) has three-day nurseries; The Oaks, The Elms, and TheMaples Day Nurseries all of which are / have:• members of the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) - the national charityrepresenting children's day nurseries across the UK, which promotes quality in early yearscare and education for the benefit of children, their families, and the local community.• All our staff members are paediatric first aid trained• Operation Encompass setting and NSPCC Graded Care Profile trained• Secure entry by fob only and 24-hour CCTVWe are dedicated to providing high quality childcare, which offers each individual child asafe, secure, and caring environment. We provide a comprehensive range of stimulating andpurposeful opportunities and experiences that allows each child to explore and pursue theirown interests and goals to promote and enhance all aspects of their individual development.Page 4 to 8Our mission is to provide high quality, inclusive childcare and education for University ofBirmingham staff and students as well as parents in the local community.
