This unit will be used to shred lithium ion cells designed for use in electric vehicles in a range of conditions (new and end-of-life). The overall requirements of the test chamber are defined below but we would like as part of the project to build strong partnerships with the technology providers so that we can secure the design and supply of a system that can be adopted for a range of battery testing applications..The test chamber should provide safe working conditions for shredding lithium ion cells and modules from electric vehicles.
