Descriptions
The purpose of this Tendering exercise is to establish a framework agreement, with a list of suppliers who are able to meet Cefndy’s requirements for ERW mild steel tube, to various specifications of quantity, frequency, dimension, finish and packaging, with a focus on cost, quality and essential service level, resulting in value for money supply and provision of savings over current operational procurement methods.Due to fluctuation in metal market prices, a mini competition will be held with successful parties to the framework every 3 months, to enable prices to be fixed for that 3 month period.The successful supplier will receive the majority of the ERW steel tube orders from Cefndy Healthcare for that period. This will be dependent on the suppliers ability to supply Cefndy in the timescales required by Cefndy. The successful mini – tender bidder will have first opportunity to supply in the selected period, but Cefndy reserve the right to purchase material elsewhere to ensure continuation of production.
