All Wales Safeguarding Procedures are currently under development. Once finalised, training will be required as a key element of implementation.Social Care Wales will be seeking a Supplier to develop the training materials and to disseminate them to the regional safeguarding boards for training delivery.The objectives of this project in 2019/20 are:In Phase 1 June – October 2019- To develop 3 sets of bi-lingual (Welsh and English) learning materials to familiarise practitioners with the procedures.The materials will be: accurate in reflecting word and spirit of the procedures, flexible for a range of uses, suitable for a multi-agency audience.In Phase 2 October 2019 – January 2020- To ensure an effective handover of the materials to regional safeguarding boards for delivery and building into their on-going training plans.Throughout Phases 1 & 2 the Supplier is expected:- To engage with the Welsh Government, All Wales Safeguarding Procedures Project Board, Social Care Wales and Regional Safeguarding Boards in the development of the materials and delivery plans.- To develop and test the materials in partnership with relevant stakeholders- To adhere to agreed branding, design and style requirements.
