Tender (I.T.T.) for the provision of Green Waste Composting services.

This Invitation to Tender (‘Tender’) sets out Sefton MBC's (‘Contracting Authority’) intention to award a Contract for the provision of Green Waste [Composting] Services to a Tenderer.The Contract will be for an initial period of 2 years (‘Initial Term’), with the option to extend for up to a further 3 x 12 month period(s) (‘Extended Term’). The proposed Contract Commencement Date will be 1.11.2014.The Contract will initially be for, but not limited to Sefton MBC, Knowsley MBC, St. Helens MBC and Wirral MBC.In addition, Liverpool City Council, Halton Borough Council and Cheshire West and Chester may consider take up of this Contract. Whilst these Authorities cannot commit to participate in the Tender process at this time, they may wish to procure the Services following Contract award under the same terms and conditions set out in the Contract.The Contracting Authority reserves the right to negotiate the collaborating Authority's tonnage fee downwards, should Liverpool, Halton or Cheshire West and Chester board the contract at a future date.
