The Council is seeking to appoint a competent facilitator to provide a Cross Community PEACE IV Legacy Programme. This is part of the Capacity Building & Engagement Programme for Groups across the District, which falls under the Building Positive Relations theme.The facilitator will be responsible for –•The recruitment of community groups across the NMANDD area. A minimum of 5 groups in each of the 7 DEAs, with minimum of 2 participant representatives from each group. The PEACE IV team will assist the facilitator in identifying groups who have participated in PEACE IV projects•Building the Capacity of Community Groups through identification of PEACE IV legacy within their DEA through the delivery of workshop style sessions, best practice visits and end of programme symposium•DEA workshops looking at Building Positive Relations in the area of good relations and peace and reconciliation will:identify positive experiences from PEACE IV projectsidentify areas of leaning and project delivery that could be improved uponincrease the ability of community groups to participate meaningfully and gain optimum benefit from future community consultations, community planning and the codesign process.identify current unmet needs in cross-community project delivery within their DEAprepare each DEA group to present their learning/experiences at the end of programme symposium. •Arranging 2 best practice visits in the discipline of community planning and codesign •Delivery of the end of programme symposium. This symposium will include contributions from programme participants across the NMANDD area, guest speakers and masterclasses in the area of community planning and codesign, eg SEUPB, NICVA, NILGA, Collaboration NI and Innovation Lab NI. The symposium will also be open to a wider audience and the facilitator will be responsible for all promotional activities.•Booking and payment of all venue hire .......
