TESTING OF SPACE HEATERS FOR COMPLIANCE WITH ECODESIGN AND ENERGY LABELLING LEGISLATION

The National Measurement & Regulation Office (NMRO) has a requirement for the testing of space heaters to verify compliance with the following regulations (and any amendments to these): •EU No 813/2013 (Ecodesign requirements for space heaters and combination heaters). •EU No 811/2013 (Energy labelling of space (and similar) heaters). Testing may be used as part of a criminal investigation. Therefore the supplier must confirm that they can fulfil the evidential traceability requirements laid out in ISO 17025 for supplying evidence that may be used as part of a prosecution.
