Thames Tideway Tunnel - C405 Main Works West - Architectural Bronze Artwork at DRMST

The Thames Tideway Tunnel project (the Project) will control CSO discharges by intercepting and diverting combined sewage flows into a new storage and transfer tunnel. The main tunnel will run from Acton Storm Tanks in west London to Abbey Mills Pumping Station in the east, where it will connect to the Lee Tunnel, which will transfer the combined sewage to Beckton Sewage Treatment Works for treatment. The Project extends from Acton Storm Tanks in west London, to Abbey Mills Pumping Station in east London. The Project includes associated works at Beckton STW, Shad Thames Pumping Station and Bekesbourne Street. The geographic layout of the Project and local authorities through which it passes is shown in Figure 1. The Project comprises: a. tunnels: i. a main tunnel which will capture and store combined sewage from CSOs along its route and transfer it to Abbey Mills Pumping Station, from where the Lee Tunnel will transfer it for treatment at Beckton Sewage Treatment Works ii. 11 connection tunnels, which will link flows from CSOs to the main tunnel. b. Worksites: i. five main tunnel Worksites (drive and/or reception sites) ii. 16 CSO Worksites iii. two System modification Worksites Thames Tideway Tunnel iv. works at Beckton Sewage Treatment works. Section 4:Scope of Works Design, supply, and Installation of Artwork installations to Timber fenders that the DMRST worksite, to include; -Provide Gate 5 level design and fabrication drawings including all fixings details -Provide all material samples, sample assemblies, mockups, and benchmarks as described in the specifications -Coordinate designs and materials for acceptance through the nominated artist - Yemi Awosile and as per specification artwork acceptance requirements. -Supplier should familiarise themselves with the provided Landscape specification and also make note of section 1.5.3. Role of Artwork Subcontractor -Provide a programme of design, sample acceptance, fabrication and installation - incorporating all assurance processes and documentation required to be submitted for acceptance. -Allow for all temporary works including design for installation as required and should consider working in and around the river environment. -Allow for all method statements + fabrication/ Installation ITPs issued for acceptance. -The supplier should allow for all required assurance documentation and handover certification in line with project requirements and detailed within the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP). -All lifting/ craneage and access equipment to be provided by sub-contractor -See river wall loading zones drawing as this will determine plant/equipment/installation - 3320-AAJVX-DRMST-500-VZ-DR-000007 -Supplier should allow for the working area being tidal (twice a day) -will impact installation method -Supplier should be aware tha
