The ODPCC (Office of the Durham Police & Crime Commissioner) is looking for an organisation to provide grant funding and administrative services which will cover the following: To spread the impact of grant funding across as many communities as possible for the benefit of people within these communities. There are many local activities and organisations that for the sake of a small amount of funding can be sustained and have a very strong local impact, and it is to those activities and organisations that this grant is to be directed. The appointment of a grant administrator will achieve the outcomes of: · greater transparency; · independence of decision making; · local decision making; · and more local accountability; · matched or additional funding. The appointment of a grant administrator will open up, to local organisations and communities, other funding streams managed by the administrator.
