The objective of this request for tender (RFT) is the development of a 5-year Migrant Integration Strategy for County Leitrim, including the establishment of a forum who will oversee the implementation of the strategy over the 5-year period. Leitrim Integrated Development Company is applying to the RDP LEADER transition programme 2021/2022 for funding to complete analysis and development (A&D) work which will deliver the following: Stage 1: Establish a Leitrim Migrant Integration Forum (a countywide representative forum involving migrants, advocate groups and other stakeholders, who will implement this strategy and take forward projects and developments, advocate for and advance the issue of migrant integration in the county in future). Stage 2: Carry out research on the migrant population of county Leitrim, including gathering and collating demographic data; consultation with migrant communities; and consultation with key service providers and stakeholders. Stage3: Development of Leitrim Migrant Integration Strategy, to include the identification of a range of actions that would support migrants in Leitrim to participate more fully in all aspects of life in the county. The Migrant Integration Forum will play a key role in guiding this process to ensure direct consultation and engagement with migrant groups and service providers.Stage 4: Publish and Promote Leitrim Migrant Integration Strategy.It is envisaged that the above process will be completed within six months from the start of the contract.The indicative budget for this project is envisaged at €19,000 - €24,000.
