The tender is for the provision of Enterprise Coaching and Barnsley Council invite tenders from individuals, organisations and consortia to apply for either all or selective lots for the 8 proposed coaching activities detailed below in accordance the standards and processes in the contract documentation.Proposed Coaching Activity (8):1. Management Development — Executive Management Development / Strategic Business Planning / Culture Change;2. Accessing and Managing Finance-Grant applications and financial management;3. Supply Chain Development — ISO accreditations, market/product development, Procurement;4. Marketing and Sales — Strategy, Action Planning;5. Export and Import Development — Emphasis on developing action plan for exporters (new/existing);6. Lean Management — Lean coaching, environmental resource management;7. Creative and digital business support — Sector focused support, access to knowledge networks and research funding;8. Digital Products and platforms support — online strategy, design digital solutions, e-commerce,connected products (internet of things).The successful service providers will be expected to deliver one or both of the 2 component programmes that constitute the Enterprising Coaching element of the Enterprising Barnsley Phase 2 (EBP 2 — Extension) business support programme as outlined in the tender documents. The Component Programmes are:1. Enterprise Coaching (Barnsley based SME’s);2. Business Networks, Surgeries and Workshops;The Enterprising Barnsley Phase 2 Extension (EBP2 — Extension) will provide its services to Barnsley Companies in the targeted ERDF Priority 2 sectors and those with the capability and aspirations to achieve growth.The Enterprising Barnsley Steering Group (EBSG) has identified a range of criteria for entry into the programme which are detailed in the tender documentation. The expectation is that the successful providers will work to these criteria and support Barnsley businesses in the programme.The successful service providers will be expected to undertake coaching support to eligible Barnsley companies that will deliver the outputs/results established by the funders, most notably:— Number of businesses assisted;— Jobs created;— Jobs safeguarded.The above mentioned specialised areas of proposed coaching activity will fall into the above mentioned 8 lots detailing the specific areas covered in each lot:Providers are invited to apply for a place on one lot or more but separate applications must be made for each lot.Tenderers shall note the tender is a two stage process and a tender application must pass part one of the tender process where a tenderer’s technical capability to perform the services required and their expertise in the areas of coaching will be evaluated.Failure to achieve a pass in all areas of part one will mean the tenderers submission for Part Two of the tender process will not be evaluated.Part Two of the tender evaluation will be cover the tenderers proposals to perform the coaching of the specific lot or lots they have applied for. This part of the submission will only be evaluated if the tenderer have successfully passed Part One.Each coaching project will be allocated after a mini competition of all providers, under the relevant lot specific to the coaching.
