The Regulatory Reform (Housing Assistance) (England and Wales) Order 2002 created a new framework for Local Authorities to provide financial assistance to homeowners for home repair and improvement. It enables Local Authorities to develop new means of providing assistance through the provision of improvement and repair loans (including equity release, interest only, interest roll up and repayment Loan Products’).The four North Wales Local Authorities; Conwy, Denbighshire, Gwynedd and Anglesey wish to provide financial assistance for housing improvements by working through and with third parties in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Housing Assistance) (England and Wales) Order 2002.The Service1.Individual loan administration2.Provision of loan3.Annual fund managementThe North Wales Local Authorities have been delivering this service since 2013, any new provider will be expected to liaise with the current provider and carry out the necessary work to transfer the existing loan profile.Please see the attached document for further details.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=95970.
