The Provision of a Grounds Maintenance Minor Works Service

Hertfordshire County Council has a requirement for a Grounds Maintenance Minor Works Service. This service comprises of five main contract package Lots (areas), as listed below, with regular, allocated work within each Lot as detailed in the Specification, Schedule 1 of the Conditions of Contract. In addition, there is a Schedule of Rates (Lot 6 ) for non-regular work that may be required throughout any of the main contract package Lots at any time throughout the life of the Contract and this work will be ordered on an as required basis. Emergency work may also be required.Hertfordshire County Council reserves the right to go out to quotations for any additional or specialist work that falls outside of the requirement for this Contract. Contract Package The Contract is divided into six main Contract Lots as follows: •Lot 1 - North Hertfordshire - Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth, Baldock and Surrounding areas •Lot 2 - East Hertfordshire - Hertford, Ware, Bishops Stortford, Broxbourne and Surrounding areas •Lot 3 - Central Hertfordshire - St Albans, Harpenden, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield and Surrounding areas •Lot 4 - South Hertfordshire - Three Rivers, Hertsmere and Surrounding areas •Lot 5 - West Hertfordshire - Dacorum and Surrounding areas Lot 6 - Schedule of Rates This procurement is an Open (one stage process). Suppliers wishing to take part in this project are invited to “express interest” which will give access to the full procurement documents in the e-tendering system. The deadline for Expressions of Interest is Thursday 3rd March 2016 (also the submission date). To be considered as a Bidder you must complete and submit a Bid by the deadline of 12.00 Noon on Thursday 3rd March 2016. Any questions relating to this procurement must be made via correspondence on the website, in accordance with the procurement documents and can be addressed to the main contact as shown in the details above.
