This invitation to tender describes the requirements for a housing related support service delivered in line with Housing First principles. The service will support service users with chronic housing and support needs, who are unable or unwilling to reside in temporary or supported accommodation environments.'Housing First' is a recovery-oriented approach to ending homelessness that centres on quickly moving people experiencing homelessness into independent and permanent housing and then providing additional support and services as needed.The service will work closely with the Local Authority and partner agencies to identify people suitable for this service and then ultimately look to engage with service users, providing intensive support to secure and maintain independent accommodation, whilst addressing relevant support needs, which may be complex and unmet.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
