The Tenderer is to provide a high quality and cost-effective wash and returnlaundry service for items originating from Locations within Staffordshire.‘Locations’ will include, but not be limited to; custody facilities, forensicdepartments, uniform stores and any other premises owned and/or utilized by theAuthority within Staffordshire.Items currently originating at custody facilities may include but not be limited to;custody cell blankets (special risk / anti-rip), bath and hand towels, high risk suits,jogging bottoms, sweatshirts and t-shirts. Ad-hoc laundry requests originatingfrom other locations may include but not be limited to; forensic lab coats,ablecloths, various items of machine washable police uniform and workshopoveralls.
