Kerry Education and Training Board require for use on the Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship:An industry standard Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) Kit (also referred to as Video Borescope, Endoscope or Video Probe) as a core training tool for apprentices on the Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship.This unit will allow users to remote inspect, photograph, videograph and measure the length, depth or area of the defect of a component such as corrosion, scratch, blockage or cracking. It will also facilitate the training of users in assessing the integrity and condition of components and reduce the risk of serious equipment failures at times of high demand or usage.
