The aims of this commissioned work, which will be undertaken from December 2018 – March 2019, are to;1.Work in partnership with young volunteers to celebrate youth social action and volunteering in Wales by planning, organising and hosting one, of two youth volunteering showcase events in Wales during February and March 2019The two youth volunteering showcases aim to;2.Showcase the depth and scale of social action and youth volunteering that is being undertaken in communities across Wales and highlight the impact of that social action and youth volunteering on the lives of young people in Wales, and the positive effect their contribution is having on individuals and local communities.3.Promote the new initiatives for youth volunteering to expand their use by current and prospective volunteers across Wales. This includes the improved Volunteering Wales digital platform, the Youth Volunteering and Social Action Charter and the Volunteering Wales digital awards for the recognition of service to their organisations, and contribution to local communities4.Facilitate an increase in the connectivity of, and support for, the youth volunteering element within the third sector across Wales.In addition, as part of this commissioned work, the suppliers will be required to;5.Evaluate the youth volunteering showcase against the ability to achieve the above four objectives and ensure this is fed back to the young people involved in delivering this showcase
