The provision of an online information resource to Cambridgeshire Schools and Governing Bodies

Cambridgeshire County Council’s Learning Directorate requires the provision of expert independent advice for headteachers, subject leaders, school staff, Governors and senior educators via a well-researched and professional online service. Information should be fully inclusive for all areas of school management including policy guidance, curriculum advice and examples, legal information, frameworks, staffing models and general guidance and principles based on the latest research and Government policies. Dedicated leadership information for school leaders and governors is essential as well as provision of information for all staff from teaching assistants to senior leaders. The service should be encouraging of continual school improvement. As a minimum the service needs to demonstrate how the information is/has: - simple to use. It should state clearly the topic area, any legal requirements and link, at least, to clear examples of good practice of that particular topic. - a suitable depth of content. The answers to questions should be concise but well-rounded. The desired answers should include reasonable explanations with examples and links as relevant. - provided with proven research from credible sources. - current. All Government policies should be provided for in the very least. Any new policies should be provided for within two days of the policy coming into effect. - continually reviewed for accuracy and updates provided across all topics and articles - independent and is free from bias The Service will be purchased for a one year contract via a Request For Quotation process. The contract shall be awarded to the supplier scoring highest on the quality and pricing evaluation method described in the detailed RFQ. (1) For CCC Hard Copy Tenders Expressions of Interest must be sent to kathleen.cavinder@cambridgeshire.gov.uk by (24th February 2016). Please provide a full contact name, address for correspondence, and email address in your Expression of Interest, and ensure that reference number A76F-GDBOOJ is quoted in all correspondence. RFQ documents will be issued on the same date as request via email. Please note submissions must be returned completed by 4pm on Thursday 3rd March 2016 via email. For those suppliers yet to demonstrate their solutions will be invited to do so on Monday 7th March 2016 at Shire Hall, Cambridge, CB3 0AP. Please note that suppliers who demonstrated during November and December 2015 during soft market testing, will not be required to demonstrate again. When expressions of interest are placed please also indicate if a representative will be providing a demonstration.
