The provision of detention officer services predominantly within the Staffordshire Police Force area, or as otherwise directed by the Chief Constable of Staffordshire Police. Services may include detainee escort / transportation outside the Staffordshire Police Force area. The intention is to award a contract for a 3 year period with the option at the sole discretion of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Staffordshire to extend for a further period of up to 2 years in increments of 12 months, giving a potential for an overall duration of 5 years.
