• To provide a short break service in the community, that enhances the well-being of children and young people with a disability and offers parents and carers a break from their caring role. • To provide a safe and exciting environment for children with complex health needs to be away from their home for a specified period of time. • To offer structured sessions and setting objectives and outcomes for each child. • To support parents and carers in encouraging children to enjoy and achieve. • To provide 1:1 support to families of children and young people who have a disability, with complex needs. • To provide a good level of competent staff to support children and young people with a disability to access a programme of activities and develop their independent skills.
