The City Literary Institute (City Lit) is a further education establishment based in central London which primarily provides adult education. City Lit is a company limited by guarantee and is a registered charity. It has been providing quality part-time courses for adults in the heart of London for 90 years. Today it attracts 40,000 students a year who choose up to 5,000 different courses. City Lit is based in a purpose designed building extending over eight floors with two smaller operations facilities nearby. The facilities management services are being re-tendered.The Contract will apply to the following buildings:1 – 10 Keeley Street; andQueens Building, KingswayCity Lit reserves the right (at its absolute discretion) to require the successful contractor to cease providing the facilities management services (in whole or in part) at either or both f these buildings, to provide the facilities management services at alternative premises of City Lit in place of these buildings and /or to extend the facilities management services under the contract to additional premises of City Lit. City Lit may make such requirements either during the course of the procurement process or during the term of the contract and such requirements shall be subject to the following conditions:— City Lit may only require the Contractor to provide the facilities management services to other premises in the event that City Lit operates those premises without the benefit of facilities management services provision during the term of the contract;— City Lit shall not require the contractor to provide the facilities management services to any more than three (3) additional or alternative premises in place of or in addition to those referred to above; and— the additional or alternative premises shall be located within a 3 mile radius of the buildings referred to above.City Lit reserves the right to terminate the procurement process at any time at its absolute discretionDue to the period between tender submission and commencement of the Contract under the anticipated procurement timetable, the minimum time frame during which tenders must maintain their tender shall be 7 months
