Tenders are invited for the requirements as specified within this document for the period commencing 1.8.2015 to 31.7.2018, with an option to extend for a further 2 year period, subject to satisfactory performance and prices secured through Mini Competition throughout the period of the framework.This arrangement will provide allowance for the University of Warwick to forward-procure energy requirements up to 3 years beyond the end of the stated contract period.The purpose of this tender exercise is to formulate a ‘select list' of energy providers who will then subsequently be requested to participate in a series of Mini Competition exercises which will cover a particular timeframe for the provision of Gas and Electricity.The timeframe and frequency of these Mini Competition exercises will be dependent upon market conditions.
