Tenders are invited for the requirements as specified within this document for the period commencing 1.8.2015 to 31.7.2018, with an option to extend for a further two year period, subject to satisfactory performance and prices secured through Mini Competition throughout the period of the framework.This arrangement will provide allowance for the University of Warwick to forward-procure energy requirements up to three years beyond the end of the stated contract period.The purpose of this tender exercise is to formulate a ‘select list’ of energy providers who will then subsequently be requested to participate in a series of Mini Competition exercises which will cover a particular time frame for the provision of gas and electricity.The time frame and frequency of these Mini Competition exercises will be dependent upon market conditions.
