THE PROVISION OF RESIDENTIAL CHILDREN’S HOMES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH AUTISM

Descriptions

Hertfordshire County Council is currently out to procurement for the PROVISION OF RESIDENTIAL CHILDREN'S HOMES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH AUTISM

The Council wishes to create a new Service for two (2) children that are unable to live alongside other Children and Young People (CYP) that have a diagnosis of Autism/Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or challenging and complex behaviours. The Children's Home will be registered as a single service with Ofsted and provide homes for children within two (2) semi-detached houses

The Council is offering the opportunity to visit the site Tuesday 28th October 2025. Please ensure you contact: cyp.cla@hertfordshire.gov.uk to confirm your attendance by noon on Friday 24th October 2025. Due to practicalities on site, the Council will need to limit numbers to two (2) per Provider in the first instance. However, if there is spare capacity nearer the time of the visit we will do our best to accommodate additional numbers. Please advise when confirming your attendance if you want to be considered for additional places and these will be granted on a first come first served basis.

The Council will procure this contract using the Open Procedure as defined in the Procurement Act 2023
