The works will involve converting 17, Katie Street, Blaengarw into a retail unit, complete with office and toilet facilities.To include:a) The construction of a two storey rear extension to provide an additional 77m2 of usable floor space.b) The alterations and refurbishment of the existing building to accomodate the new extension, improve and generally upgrade to current standards.Approximate value of the contract £167kContract to be completed by the end of September 2011. This project has received funding through the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007 - 2013 which is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
