The Real Time Information Group Digital Framework Contract.
Descriptions
Scope of the Services The essential requirement is that Members, or their agents, should be able to contract for Services in a way that enables them to implement fully-featured information and communication systems in support of public transport operations. The Services cover, generically, wireless communications network services suitable for carrying Internet Protocol (IP) data traffic. This includes both long range (eg GPRS, 3G, LTE) and medium range (eg WiFi) but not short range (eg NFC) technologies. RTIG recognises and accepts that the network boundary (ie the point at which the Services begin) may vary depending on the Contractor's architecture and business model — for instance it could be the air interface, a Contractor-provided SIM, an internet port, a switch port, etc. Suppliers are expected to be able to deliver to the majority of RTIG members, which in practice means substantial coverage of the UK.RTIG was established in 2000 to provide a focus for all those involved in UK bus RTI. We now have a comprehensive remit to cover the effective and efficient use of technology in the interests of passenger transport users, operators and sponsors.RTIG has a wide membership drawn from UK local authorities, bus and rail operators and system suppliers. The current list of members is not an exhaustive list and subject to change. An updated list of members can be provided upon request at any point throughout the term of the framework.Below is current list of members at are to be included in this framework, all listed memeber of the RTIG will be able to call off from this framework.Aberdeenshire Council.Actia (UK) Ltd.AECOM Ltd.Almex.Arriva Passenger Services.Atkins Transport Systems.Brighton and Hove City Council.Bristol City Council.Cardiff County Council.Centaur Consulting Ltd.Centro.CH2M Hill.City of Edinburgh Council.ConsaT Telematics AB.Dorset County Council.Essex County Council.Ferrograph.First Group.Glasgow City Council.GMV Sistemas SAU.GreenRoad Technologies Ltd.Hampshire County Council.Hanover Displays.Hogia Public Transport Systems AB.IBI Group.Icomera UK Ltd.Idox Software Ltd.Imtech.INEO Systrans.Infotec Ltd.INIT GmbH.ITO World.IVU Traffic Technologies UK Ltd.J Murdoch Wight Ltd.Kent County Council.Lincolnshire County Council.Lothian Buses plc.MDV.Merseytravel.Metro (West Yorkshire PTE).Mobihub Ltd.Mobius Networks Ltd.National Transport Authority, Ireland.Nexus.Nexus Alpha Ltd.Nimbus Journey Information.North East Lincolnshire Council.Nottingham City Council.Nottinghamshire County Council.Omnibus Solutions Ltd.Oxfordshire County Council.Parkeon.Reading Borough Council.Region Services Ltd.SESTRAN.SilverRail JP UK Ltd.South Yorkshire PTE.Southampton City Council.Staffordshire County Council.Stagecoach Group plc.Suffolk County Council.TfL — London Buses.Thetis S.p.A.Ticketer.Transport for Greater Manchester.Transport Research Centre.Trapeze ITS (UK) Ltd.Traveline.VIX Technology Ltd.West Berkshire Council.White Young Green.Wokingham District Council.Worldline IT Services UK Ltd.
