The contract will comprise approximately 165 no properties of a timber frame construction .The properties are contained within the Torfaen area and will include the areas as follows:-The reroof of the flat bitumen roof ( Approximately 40 No )or pitched concrete tiled roofs ( approximately 125 No ) and the application of external wall Insulation to non traditional timber frame “Guildway” propertiesBlaenavonGarndiffaith TalywainNew Inn/Sebastapol/GriffithstownUpper Trevithin/Penygarn/St Caddocks The Specific objectives are :-To improve the U Values and protect structural integrity to approximately 165 no propertiesImprove the appearance of the properties and the neighbourhoodDecrease energy consumption and carbon emissionsTo provide community benefits in the form of additional local jobs, training and community involvement opportunitiesBron Afon Community Housing is committed to achieving economic, social and environmental well-being for its residents and implementing the Community Strategy so as to ensure a better quality of life for everyone, now and for generations to come.
