The supply and delivery of ambient meals and in-cup drinks plus a limited range of disposable sundries, for use in police custody units where required.Meals must be suitable for storage without the use of refrigerators or freezers and shall have minimum shelf life of twelve (12) months' from the time of delivery. All meals are to be pre-cooked and individually prepared in containers suitable for re-heating or self heating.The types of meal that may be required under this contract may include but are not limited to:1) All Day Breakfast.2) Vegetarian Breakfast.3) Layered Meat Pasta.4) Rice Dish.5) Red Meat Dish.6) Halal Meat Dish7) White Meat Dish.8) Vegetarian Dish.Meals required under this contract shall be suitable for a range of dietary, cultural and religious requirements.Additional breakfast options e.g. porridge and cereal bars will be required.In-cup drinks are to be powdered / granulated or concentrated liquid and reconstituted with water. Other types of drinks plus ancillary products may also be required; these will be detailed in the invitation to tender documentation.Disposable sundries may include but not be limited to plates, cups and polypropylene cutlery.The supplies under this contract are for use in police custody units and therefore must be suitable for use in this environment.The full requirements will be clarified in the ITT documentation.
