For the period 1.7.2013. to 30.6.2015. with the option to extend for two periods of 12 months.A Framework Agreement for the supply of compound semiconductor wafers grown by molecular beam epitaxy.The University of Glasgow has a requirement for the supply of compound semiconductor wafers grown by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) to support on-going and planned research projects. The University is seeking to identify a supplier of these wafers who will be able to provide small volumes of MBE wafers to specifications defined by University staff, in consultation with the supplier. The MBE wafers may be grown in the near term on GaAs, InP, GaSb or InAs substrates, and in the longer term potentially also on Si substrates, and comprise multiple layers of alloys of III-V materials, with the potential for the incorporation of n- and p-type doping.Tender documents available from Public Contracts Scotland.Tender returns should be submitted via Public Contracts Scotland, no paper copies will be accepted.
