The full requirement is detailed in the specification that is included as part of the tender documents but includes:Easy to use, intuitive web-based search interface providing access to a database of information on UK registered companies and their directors. The database should be comprehensive and will be updated on a daily basis in order to provide information that meets requirements of due diligence and company credit checking.The service will be made available to all Welsh Government (WG) staff, if costs permit (ca. 5,000) at all WG offices.Company reports will minimally include all of the following information:-Current credit score and credit limit, together, where available with at least the previous two years credit scoring.-Direct comparison of 5 years financial data (where available), including balance sheet, profit and loss, cashflow and key financial ratios.-Current legal status of the company-Liquidator details (date of appointment, date of meeting of creditors)-Creditor details-Auditor (where required) details-Company Group-Previous company names-Current mortgages-Current CCJs-Shareholders (top 20) and shareholdings-Corporate tree and subsidiaries with shareholdings-Directors and ex-directors information, which:-Should be easily accessible through the company being searched-Should only be one record per individual (Directors report)-Should easily show if the Directors or Company Secretary appear on the Disqualified Directors register-Should show any other current or past directorships or shareholdings-Should provide details of the current position (active, in administration, liquidation etc) of those companies-Where one of the companies has ceased trading or been struck off clear reasons are provided i.e. voluntary; compulsory winding up-Should allow easy movement through a Director’s name to other directorships and information on their other companies.The service will provide direct access to Companies House and/or equivalent scanned Annual Returns, Annual Accounts and Governance documents, for at least the most recent three years (where available), without incurring further charges. It should also allow for the viewing/downloading of older accounts and annual returns as well as SH01 (share documentation) Statement of Affairs, Creditors meetings etc.Reports also need to include contemporary information from the Gazettes, mergers and acquisitions information, together with company news from other respected news sources.Ability to automatically ‘track’ companies currently bound by Welsh Government grant terms and conditions on a daily basis. This will need to offer advance warning on fundamental aspects e.g. notice to strike off or subject to High Court Writs etcThe service would also need to include an advanced search option. The Client will need to perform searches for detailed sector/geographical analysis or company mailing lists e.g. the number of solicitor companies based in Wales. The criteria needed would include the options of location, number of employees, turnover, industry categories/SIC Codes etc. Any results would need to be downloadable in suitable formats e.g. PDF, excel spreadsheet.
