Processed food products. Deep-frozen products. Canned or tinned fish and other prepared or preserved fish. Prepared breakfast cereals. Prepared pasta and couscous. Prepared pasta. Vinegar; sauces; mixed condiments; mustard flour and meal; prepared mustard. Canned tuna. Canned tomatoes. Canned vegetables. Canned peas. Eggs. Non-alcoholic beverages. Fruit juices. The requirement is for one or more providers to be appointed to supply the Trust with its food beverage and catering consumables requirements. The agreement will be for 3 years with the option to extend the contract for 2 x one year periods, at the discretion of the Trust. The Requirement is broken into Lots. Deliveries may be required on a daily basis.The successful Applicant (s) will also be required to provide monthly management information, which will be analysed by the Trust and the successful Applicant(s) and products may be removed or added based on usage.The successful Applicant(s) will also be required to meet agreed service levels.The successful Applicant(s) will be audited for compliance to agreed specifications.Please note the values indicated above are indicative only and the Trust does not guarantee any minimum spend with successful Applicants.The Trust restaurant is responsible for providing approximately 250 patients with meals three times a day. The restaurant also has a retail facility and meals are sold to staff and visitors. It is the ethos of the restaurant to provide high quality, nutritious meals, and to meet the Government Buying Standards relating to food, therefore successful Applicants will be required to support and assist the Trust to meet these standards if successful.For further details see http://sd.defra.gov.uk/advice/public/buying/products/food/guidance/The restaurant has recently been awarded a Bronze Soil Association award, and successful applicants will be required to support and assist the Trust in order to retain this accreditation, and where relevant demonstrate compliance with Soil Association Standards.Any award made under this procurement, shall not be exclusive.The Trust's award criteria will be based on Most Economically Advantageous Tender, and reserve the right to make no award, or split the award on a Lot by Lot basis.The Trust may wish to visit successful Applicants premises as part of the tender evaluation.
