Provision of these resources are required in order for the service to meet the statutory duties of the Public Libraries and Museums Act 1964. Spoken-Word (Audiobooks) and Large Print books are a key aspect of service provision for all customers and the format especially facilitates access to books for customers who may be unable to access them elsewhere.
