Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council is seeking expressions of interest in a speculative notice for the Transportation and Processing of Fines material from its Material Reclamation Facility.Amgen Cymru provides a wide range of waste management services to the residents and businesses of Rhondda Cynon Taf and is the trading name of Cynon Valley Waste Disposal Company Ltd. It is the Local Authority Waste Disposal Company (LAWDaC), wholly owned by Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council. Amgen Cymru is located at Bryn Pica, Llwydcoed, Aberdare, CF44 0BX.The waste results from the screening of the residual element remaining after the sorting of kerbside collected comingled recyclable materials from the residents of RCT. The material is under 50mm in diameter.The materials collected by RCT include:PaperCardboardCansPlasticsTetrapaksGreen Garden WasteTextilesGlass bottlesFor indicative purposes, tonnage is currently approximately 3000 tonnes per annum. Amgen Cymru cannot guarantee the tonnage or composition of the waste. Suppliers are encouraged to view the material at tender stage.Amgen Cymru are looking for a contractor to collect the fines material from its site at Bryn Pica, Aberdare and process the material with a view to diverting all recyclable elements from landfill disposal.Consideration and allowances should be made for future changes in waste arisings and its composition.
